about 2 months agoThanks to our great bartender Shri and server/busser Prasad, our night at the fire pit was beyond our expectations! Everything was so cozy, and all the staff were incredibly attentive and polite. We’re definitely coming back soon! Highly recommend the Bavarian pretzels! ? Also, the hostess Izzy (if I remember correctly) was so nice and helpful when I made the phone reservation, which made arranging our outdoor table seating so much easier!

about 2 months agoMy fiancé and I got engaged during our stay, and from the moment we arrived, every member of the team made us feel genuinely celebrated. They somehow knew our names, understood the significance of our visit, and went above and beyond to make the entire experience feel incredibly personal - all while keeping the proposal a surprise. Every interaction was thoughtful, warm, and sincere. Our room was absolutely incredible - beautiful, luxurious, and impeccably maintained. It was the perfect setting for such a special milestone and made our stay feel even more magical. We would especially like to thank Randi, Phil, Liza, Fernanda, and Taylor. While these are the names we remember, we're certain there were many others working behind the scenes who contributed to making our stay so unforgettable. The level of care, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality shown by every member of the team was unlike anything we've experienced before. We've been fortunate to travel extensively and stay at many beautiful hotels around the world, but nothing compares to the experience we had at Montage! Thank you for helping make one of the most important moments of our lives even more magical. We will always look back on our engagement with so much joy, and the Montage will forever be a part of that story. We can't wait to return to Montage Deer Valley to create more unforgettable memories together. After experiencing this level of hospitality, we also look forward to visiting other Montage properties in the future. If they're anything like Deer Valley, we know we're in for something truly special!

3 months agoNo notes. The service, the deamenor, the food, the ambiance, all genuinely perfect. Darek took such good care of us, gave insightful recommendations, and was constantly in top of taking care of us. On top of all that, Paul not only moved our table to a quieter, peaceful spot. He gave knowledgeable information about our wine of the night and gave a memorable experience. All around 10/10 experience no doubt

4 months agoIt's an experience but they saw we had a little baby and said they would rush to try and get us a room cause we showed up around 1230. They said to hang out in the lounge. Well we went and asked 2 times and said they're working on it. Got us in a double queen when we ordered a king and we couldn't fit a crib. No problem not a big deal the issue was that was at 330. They switched us into our room around 4. Which is check in. I gave 5 star when I wanted to do a 4 cause other people were great. Now I just asked for an hour late check out knowing obviously they gave it to other people I'm with and the people in the room I got into when I came and I was told nope. I said my daughters nap time is till 1230 and I was told absolutely no way. Not very accommodating and not very empathetic for a hotel of this caliber.. asking for a late check out on a Tuesday. Only not giving a 1 cause some people have been awesome like that lady in the shop and some of the valet. After I posted this they did accommodate a late check out so this it's my 3rd update. Lol ok full circle maxwell the bell staffs the man and so is that team. I think we just had one rigid bad apple but in the end we left with a great feeling and will come back

8 months agoI went to the spa to take a break from skiing. The spa let me drop off some items before my ski day so that I would have them for and after my services which was very convenient. The massage spa rooms are beautiful and overlook over the mountain. My masseuse, Christine, was lovely and gave me a great massage. In the spa area, there is a sauna steam room, Jacuzzi and a cold shower for you to do some hot and cold therapy before or after your service. The entire area is extremely clean and has a calming, luxurious vibe. I was there for many hours and it was not busy at all, which was nice to have some alone time and feel that I had privacy. The Women’s lounge had comfortable chairs with blankets to relax in and little snacks to enjoy like almonds, truffles, tea and flavored water. The only part that was a little lacking was in the vanity area. There was not a place to sit down and they did not have a blow dryer. They were less supplies (lotion, q-tips, etc.) in the vanity area than other spas that I’ve been to. The prices are high, but that’s what you’d expect for Deer Valley and if you stay and enjoy the spa for hours like I did, you get your money’s worth!

8 months agoThe accounting dept of this admittedly high end Hotel is ran by an incompetent buffoon (specifically a rude woman who proudly and condescendingly identified herself as Audrey Garcia, who likes to hang up on clients after challenging them to leave negative reviews blah blah blah…). Via an accounting “error” she charged my card (provided at check-in for incidentals only, after our company pre-paid for roughly 30 rooms) $949 and has refused to refund or provide any resemblance of an explanation as to what the charge was possibly for. I’d never trust this origination again, despite the Hotel being a rather nice venue all in all.

From the moment we arrived, the level of luxury, comfort, and attention to detail made this feel like a true 5?star retreat. The resort itself is beautifully designed with rich, alpine?inspired spaces, warm fireplaces, and elegant yet cozy rooms that made every moment feel special. 9 months agoGreat experience at the spa! Spent the afternoon there using the gym, sauna and steam room before my facial. The robes were amazing, room was peaceful and the esthetician was so knowledgeable and felt like my skin was glowing afterwards???

9 months agoWow!!! Amazing! Great customer service! Beautiful rooms, well maintained, super clean! Amazing food too! In/out skiing available. They do not rent ski pants, googles, nor jackets. They do rent helmets and boots. Great resort with a great kids club!
