Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley consistently receives high praise for its exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, and prime location in Park City. Guests frequently highlight the attentive staff, beautifully appointed rooms, and convenient access to ski slopes and other activities, though some have noted minor issues to be aware of.
Always so happy to come back to Stein Eriksen Lodge. This is not our first stay, and somehow every visit reminds me why this place is so special. The service is truly 15 out of 10 — everyone is incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely caring, and they always make you feel so welcome. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with such a cozy and elegant mountain atmosphere and incredible attention to every detail. For me, Deer Valley is one of the most beautiful ski destinations in the United States, and Stein Eriksen Lodge is a huge part of what makes it so special. It’s one of those places you never get tired of coming back to. Thank you to the entire team for another wonderful stay. We will definitely be back! ??
Ron was very clean and well stocked with amenities. Bathroom shower and tub was immaculate. Our room did not have great views as it overlooked the entry courtyard. The inner courtyard was quite nice, full of trees and plants and was very pleasant to walk through, though with a bit of stairs all over. Pool and game room was great the kids really enjoyed it. I would come back here.
The room was nice ? the bed ? is comfortable, so are the pillows. The news from the balcony makes you feel as if you were in the wilderness Room 235-3 The fireplace makes for a cozy atmosphere The bathroom is spacious The bath ? is nice and big enough Too bad the bobble were not working Miner issue.
The Stein Eriksen is a well known hotel. The rooms are really nice. There is an arcade with food and drinks. Room service is good: they clean your room. The location is good also. The ski mountain is right next the lodge and if you need skis/poles you can get it at the pro shop. This is one of the nicest hotels in Utah and it's worth it. But don't come in the holidays because it will cost way more money.
The hotel is amazing, grounds, rooms, spa, it's all great and the vibe they have curated is terrific. Food was amazing, awesome bison burger but the service is really, really top notch, for the whole stay. No complaints, well done.
We only got to stay one night, but I'm already looking to book another stay next ski week. The hotel called us a week prior to let us know that ski season ended early this year and they were willing to cancel and refund our reservation. We decided to keep our trip as planned and check out Park City for next year. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to the one bedroom suite, which I think is the way to go! So much space for 2 adults and 2 kids, comes with a fully stocked kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a murphy bed, hot tub, and steam shower! Such a wonderful way to unwind and relax.
Absolutely a piece of heaven. Every day I spent there was wonderful, and every person working there seemed to be genuinely caring about you and your experience. I highly recommend the spa too, Amanda was very insightful and helped with my neck/shoulder pain, I felt like a new person and wish I had done a 2hrs session. Truly one of a kind people, place and experience. 5 stars is simply not enough. :)
We have stayed at this hotel several times. The service is excellent. Our suite was beautiful with a Wolf stove and Sub Zero fridge. We had glass walls with a view of skiers on the slopes. We had two decks. We stayed in our beautiful suite a lot because the weather was terrible (meaning no snow in February, but nobody can control this…) We did ski and loved leaving our stuff in a locker near the slopes. There are several vans to give you rides and we used them every day. We never waited for more than five minutes. They provide tons of water and we got little surprises in our room every night. The amenities are high end and replaced. We had a steam shower and regular one. A sit down makeup area outside the bathroom. Two gas fireplaces. Love this lodge.
This is a particularly strong destination for families. Staff were consistently patient and attentive, especially with kids, without being intrusive. For a child having multiple firsts on the mountain, that kind of environment matters. The attention to quality carries through beyond the skiing as well. Food and beverage offerings reflect a level of care you don’t often see on-mountain, with thoughtfully curated selections rather than generic options. Ending the day with an excellent wine experience was an unexpected but fitting touch. A place that delivers a reliable, high-quality experience across the board. Would return without hesitation.
This is boomer luxury. Molton Brown soaps not flamingo estate if you know what I mean… plastic purified water (glorified Dasani) in the rooms not glass spring water… Sauna is available only to spa customers. They say you can buy a day pass for $100 to use the sauna if there’s room in the locker room but it was full my entire stay. I also couldn’t get a massage either. The shuttle is one sprinter van shared amongst the entire hotel. Good luck actually getting a ride. I waited 28 minutes and then they abandoned me in the 11 degree freeze. Nice… the room itself was pretty nice I’ll give them that. Another annoying thing is they don’t tell you til you check in but they charge you a 10% service fee PER DAY… the rooms are $900/night so that’s a lil crazy. Oh one more funny thing when I arrived they offered me the chance to upgrade my room for $200. I declined bc I’m not an idiot. An hour later I’m in the lobby I hear them tell another guest checking in that they were receiving a free room upgrade ? I figured they must be regulars… the bell man asks and they confirm it’s their first time staying there.
