Took my wife to celebrate her birthday and enjoy the local area. Can’t say enough about how cool the environment is and the staff were great, but our room was terrible. We hardly were able to get any sleep because our room never dropped below 80 degrees even after trying to adjust the thermostat, and open the window. The beds are terrible as well. I don’t think I’ve ever struggled as hard to get rest at a hotel as we did here. We tossed and turned all night long. Don’t know if we will be returning.

I have stayed here for years every summer. Each year it seems to go more down hill. The property itself is beautiful and set in a beautiful location but it needs some major updating and maintenance. The rooms are outdated and dingy. The halls in the main building smell awful. The pool area is also old, dated and dingy. We have had AC issues in our room the last two years we have come. The bakery has also gone down hill significantly. It’s used to be so nice to head down there for breakfast and Starbucks but now it’s no longer a Starbucks and tastes like dirt water. For two drinks and a pastry it was $25 and we ended up throwing most of it away. I don’t normally leave reviews but I am hoping the ownership makes some changes. We have to come here for a convention or I would not be returning. The staff was nice at the front desk and friendly so I will give them that.

I’ve lived in the area for 50 years but this was my first visit to Zermatt. When I was younger everyone said Zermatt was amazing and I had the impression it was a five star resort so maybe it was just unmet expectations, but it was more of a very nice hotel or run down resort. The vibe was mountain chateau which was really beautiful and cool. The pool was nice but the hot tub in the outdoor area was cold. There were a lot of things that were obviously nice in the past but were just run down. Worn carpet, broken concrete, non-functioning fountains, ice machine didn’t work. On the other hand, the tennis courts, and outdoor game areas looked very well maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. Everything seemed clean even though it was somewhat worn. I enjoyed the stay - I just can’t give it 4 or 5 stars when comparing it to some of the other resorts (Marriott for example)

We stayed in room 435 and booked through Airbnb. It says that all fees are included but that isn't true. We were charged upon arrival for the resort fee. The room was "mostly clean" there was an old cigar butt or something on the floor, the vent in the bathroom was filthy, and the water pressure was lousy. If you have small children be aware that the window can be opened and you are on the 4th floor with a huge drop to the ground. Otherwise, the service was great! Would stay again.

Great food, great customer service! Our stay was excellent just gave a 4/5 for the fact the showers pressure could have been better, the TV was a little tricky to figure out,and our room key had some issues. All little things that was fine and the front desk fixed the key card. Would stay here again the spa is amazing!!

We have stayed there on and off over 18 years since we got married and spend our honeymoon there! We have stayed to celebrate Anniversaries, milestone birthdays, work promotions, and special holidays. It has been sad to watch a once beautiful hotel fall from its prime due to lack of maintenance, declining Customer Service, and overall downgrade of the uniqueness of the property! We stayed last October and were left extremely disappointed by the experience, I emailed the GM after that stay and received an email saying that they were doing massive maintenance work during the winter! Fast forward to this month, where we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try to make a reservation. After looking on the main website, and seeing a great deal for a local only stay, I try to book, after putting all my information I received an error and was told to call. Upon calling, I was advised that they do not Awnaw that special anymore. If they are lacking to update their rates in an expedient manner, they are providing false advertising, and I’m not being contrite and honest to their clients. As a professional in the hospitality field, this left a very bad taste in My mind to the point that I will not recommend a stay at the Zermatt resort and spa to anyone. it really is a shame that it has come down to this. You are better spending your money at Facilities that are kept maintained and offer. True customer service a little bit further away in Park city or canyons resort

Everything about this place was comfortable, relaxed and just a great experience! Matt, at the front desk, was super nice and efficient and he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms were clean, quaint, and super quiet. The view is spectacular. The bar/restaurant went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The bakery has absolutely amazing pastries and baked goods. Over all, the wife and I just wanted an escape from the city (we only live 45 minutes away) and this place was exactly what we wanted. We'll be back.

There for a weekend family getaway. Rooms were great, they have is two adjoining rooms, which was awesome. The bar on the property could use some training. I asked the bartender if they make a good old fashioned, no response, they just started making my drink. And no, it wasn't good. Everything and everyone else was great.

Seems ok enough. Bed is mid at best. Pillows flatten to nothing. Water pressure for the shower was extremely weak. Complimentary coffee only avaliable in the evening (weird bc most people drink coffee in the morning). They do have a Starbucks if you want that or some kerig cups in room (only dark roast, black tea and decaf avaliable). We did enjoy the hot tub and water feature. The pool is heated and connects to the outside which is cool too. Not a bad stay.

This is a great spot! We rented a villa for our anniversary and it was mostly good. The villas were clean and had a little bit of updating. Pillows were the worst pillows I've ever used in my life!! But the bed itself wasn't bad at all. I was super disappointed that none of the TVs in our Villa were Smart TVs. So you had to watch regular cable TV, without a guide, which was a bummer cuz we wanted to watch our normal stuff. And we had no way of really seeing what was on other than kicking it old school and channel surfing. But also the bedroom TV was like a 25-in so it was a computer monitor lol. We also got a couple's massage and that was great! The gals who gave us a massage were wonderful and the massages were great. The rest of the spa and wellness center were kind of mid. It was definitely like clean and nice but it wasn't some crazy spa experience. And you are still paying crazy spa experience prices. One last thing that was annoying. I don't know what was going on but through one of the whole days, someone in one of the villas or if they have a big kitchen for the whole place in the villas area was cooking something. It was disgusting smelling. The whole place wreaked! Also parking sucked when the lot was full at the end of the night. Mainly because a bunch of the stalls had giant snow piles in them where they shovel everything to. Having said all that, it was for the most part. A good stay. It's a cool spot to be in, especially with snow. And a lot of things were a fun vibe
