Marriott’s Summit Watch offers a convenient and family-friendly base for exploring Park City, boasting a prime location just steps from Main Street and featuring a variety of amenities including pools, a basketball court, and an activity center. While consistently praised for location and cleanliness, recent reviews highlight potential issues with parking fees, elevator functionality, and inconsistent customer service experiences.
One of my favorite places to stay, EVER. Especially if you get a one or two bedroom suite; they have a fireplace and a big open-concept kitchen/dining/living room. It truly feels like an apartment that's perfect for family reunions and feeling at home away from home. Great for families and kids- amazing kids club and always something fun to do. Indoor and outdoor pool, several hot tubs, half-size basketball court, paved trail. AND it's all just steps away from historic Park City Main Street, which is so fun to walk around and window shop. I've been staying here with my family for 20+ years.
Greatest value in Month of May on the planet. 900 square foot room for a great price. I did not need that much room with my wife but we did it because we could. LOL
If available, I liked staying at this location because it’s easy to walk to everything, close to shopping and restaurants, and Main Street is right there. The rooms are clean and more updated, and having parking was definitely a plus. You used to not have to pay for parking since it was included, but now it’s $30 a night, so take that into consideration. If you find another nice place to stay with parking included, I’d probably go there since that definitely used to be one of the big advantages here, especially for locals.
Five stars isn’t enough! I don’t know if it’s Park City magic or this hotel specifically, but the hospitality here is truly something special. Kirk and Juan went above and beyond from the moment we arrived — warm, welcoming, genuinely kind, and so incredibly helpful. Those two alone made our entire stay. You can tell they actually care, and it makes all the difference. On top of the outstanding service, the location is perfect and the views are absolutely beautiful. I honestly can’t see myself staying anywhere else when I’m in Park City. If you’re looking for a place where you feel taken care of, this is it. Already looking forward to coming back!
I’m a traveling musician and was on a tight schedule—checking in quickly before heading to soundcheck. The room itself was great: clean, comfortable, and exactly what I expected. A couple of days later, I noticed a $30 charge labeled as a “timeshare,” which was confusing. It turns out this was actually a parking fee. Not a big deal in terms of the amount, but the labeling should definitely be clearer. Even when I called customer service, they agreed it should be listed as a parking fee, not a timeshare charge. I will say, I ultimately received a refund through 1-800 customer service number, and that part of the experience was handled wonderfully and professionally—much appreciated. The bigger issue for me was the initial front desk call interaction. I spoke with Tyler Pacheco (Manager or on duty — he stated) and explained that, regardless of policy, it’s important to clearly communicate any additional charges upfront rather than assuming guests already know. I wasn’t upset about the fee—I just think transparency helps avoid confusion. Why not discount a next stay to help resolve? Or give a good dinner discount? Do something to help the experience. Unfortunately, the interaction felt dismissive, and the attitude I encountered made the situation more frustrating than it needed to be. A bit more accountability and professionalism would go a long way. Overall, the stay itself was solid, and I appreciate the resolution, but clearer billing descriptions and more consistent customer service would make a noticeable difference.
Lack of soundproofing with the restaurants sharing the premises during closing time from 10:3pm to midnight. The business center printer ran out of color ink and the front desk informed us the could only print in black and white - but were indeed able to print in color when the took pity on us. The room was only serviced once over a 6 day stay and not on either of the two dates I was informed it would be when checking in. The base sheet also had a hole and a stain on it. I received an unasked for wake up call at 2am.
This is a fantastic option right at the base of town lift. I visited for a ski vacation and the property was in good condition and i loved the hot tubs at the end of the property. If you are skiing, note that the town lift is super slow so you might want to stay at the other Marriott property
Amazing location, the rooms are very well distributed. The kitchen is complete The living room is perfect for after snow resting. The bathrooms are spacious and super clean.
Beautiful unit, but terrible experience at Marriott’s Summit Watch Park City. The room’s central heater is stuck at 75°F, and we can’t turn it off. My wife has a medical intolerance to heat and got sick all night. Front desk said the only solution was to “turn off the fan and open the windows” — which meant sleeping with freeway noise and no rest. We staying 2 nights When we asked again, we were told, from Tyler front desk“It is what it is.” Completely unacceptable for a Marriott property. Guests should be able to control room temperature or be ajar even moving between rooms just to not have the noise of the window will not be okay since the heater will still on ! Disappointed by the lack of empathy and basic service. Definitely not the level of care expected from Marriott.
We loved our stay at the Marriott in Utah. The walkable location near restaurants and shops was perfect, and the planned activities/tours made exploring easy and fun. Staff were exceptionally friendly and the facilities were comfortable and well maintained. Our only suggestion: have tour guides brush up on local history and ensure details are accurate—already good tours would become great.
